A Simple Rustic Chic Engagement Party
Chic celebrations are my fave. Last weekend the time came to have a party to celebrate the engagement of my brother in law and future sister in law (insert a ton of cheers). A few of her lovely bridesmaids and I got to work on decorating and co-hosting a simple rustic chic event. Due to our amazing Summer heat instead of a backyard BBQ we held a Florida room BBQ at the family home of the bride to be. My future sister in law (aka bestie) wanted to incorporate her favorite colors mint, gold and touches of peach.
The bride to be has a family that knows how to throw down in the kitchen. The event was filled with all sorts of delish southern food and of course the best variety of drinks. From vodka punch to sparkling wine to beer we had every guest covered. All of us ladies truly love to entertain and drink recipes are always on top of the list.
The dessert table was a fave. The maid of honor ordered the stunning cake pops and they flew like hot cakes. Of course tassel garland had to make an appearance. Baby’s breath, a mason jar with floating candles and custom letters completed the decor. I’ll be sharing a DIY on the letters soon!
The bridal party. One fun group of ladies ready to celebrate our girls big day!
