Glittered Mason Jars
The Required Supplies:
Spray adhesive, plenty of glitter, mason jars, gloves & a space to get messy.
- Begin by spraying adhesive on the outside of the mason jar. The spray adhesive does not require a thick coat, a thinly sprayed coat is sufficient. This adhesive means business; make sure you are working on a surface that is allowed to get slightly sticky. I highly recommend you wear gloves or you will have layers of glitter glued to your hands.
- Once you’ve coated your jar with the adhesive it’s time to pour on the glitter. The glitter will easily adhere to the sprayed area but to be safe be generous when pouring the glitter.
- After the mason jar has been covered with glitter roll it in your hands to remove the excess. The jar looks beautiful with a thick layer of glitter on it but before use you are going to want to make sure all the ‘extra glitter’ is gone. Rolling the mason jar gives it a smoother look as well.
When I put a tealight inside and turned the lights off I was so pumped!
These gold glitter jars are going to look amazing at my styled photo shoot this weekend. A simple project that might just be my fave.
