Chic Tea Party {Behind the Scenes}

I feel so grateful for the love that many of you showed for our Chic Spring Tea Party.  It was a small shoot (not as difficult as the Breaking Dawn shoot in the woods) but it still had its ‘moments’.  I really enjoy sharing behind the scenes to inspire others and to keep things real.  Things don’t always go as planned and mother nature sometimes has other plans for your shoot.  Here are a few photos my husband and I took ‘behind the scenes’.

It was hot, very very hot and windy.  This is how I look typically at the beginning of a photo shoot or when I’ve realized we have to improvise.  Much love to the photographer, my sweet friend Kevin Moya, he put up with what my husband calls diva moments.

We had to change locations the morning of the shoot, thank goodness my family & friends live in a complex with such a beautiful view!  Due to the move and heat most of my cupcakes melted and didn’t make it into the photos.  Did I mention it was windy!?!?  Some of the printables didn’t make it into the photos due to the out of control wind gusts… I suppose it could have been worse.

I have some good lookin’ friends, right!?! wink wink

They had a great time getting dressed up and being a part of the shoot.  As you can tell, giggles were had by all.  {I adore the photos of them, it shows their personality.}
