A Harry Potter Christmas- Day 22

Calling all Harry Potter fans, let’s celebrate Christmas in a very HP way!
Day 22 of our 25 days of Christmas Inspiration

I love this tree!  The sorting hat as the tree topper, the Hogwarts Express running around the tree, and the books…gotta love books on display!
A DIY Holiday project, Golden Snitch ornaments.  Great idea!
More HP Ornaments!
HP gift basket- LOVE this idea!!  Scarf, wand, butter beer mugs with recipe, and a book…I want one!  I know a Potter fan or two in my family that might see something like this in the near future as a gift *wink wink*.
My sweet friend, A Sweet Spot:Home, came across this via Pinterest and shared it with me, (she knows me well).  This is such a yummy idea!  Mix those hot cocoa nights up with a Butterbeer Latte during the Holidays.  This would also be a great idea on a Potter Holiday party menu.
Speaking of party…Ezra Pound Cake shares some delish HP inspired dessert recipes!  Head over to their site and get inspired.

From one Harry Potter fan to many others, Happy Holidays!

My sweet friend Meli of Blush & Jelly shared several awesome gift guides this Holiday season.  I know Christmas is only days away so some of this might be just for looks or last minutes finds, either way I could look at these gift guides over and over… such great ideas for gift giving the entire year!

DIY Ornaments- Day 19

I’m so excited to have one of my closest online friends here today, Cineca from Dreamin’ N Details, sharing an adorable DIY project.

This year, I decided I would take on the challenge of making ALL of our Christmas gifts myself (except for the munchkin’s presents from Santa)
Of course, my first stop was PINTEREST. I found so many adorable ideas there! Im very excited to share one of my favorite projects with the Truly Chic readers!
{DIY Santa’s Belt Ornaments}

These are the easiest homemade ornaments EVER!
All you need is:
Clear Craft Ornaments
Red Filler (I used gift confetti)
A Glue Stick
Silver or Gold Glitter (for the buckel)
Strips of Black Felt (long enough to wrap around the ornament)

Simply remove the ornament topper, stuff with your filler, glue the felt around ‘Santa’s belly’ and draw on the belt buckle with the glitter…and WAH-LAH!!

I love how they turned out!

Merry Christmas xoxo~Cineca
